CMHR is in need of Volunteers!

Chance's Mini Horse Rescue is run 100% by volunteers across the United States!  A core group of concerned Miniature Horse lovers began CMHR so as to be able to respond
quickly to any Mini in need in the United States!  To be able to accomplish that, volunteers are needed at every level and in EVERY state!

Your time and energy can make a difference, so please consider becoming a member and volunteering!  If you only have a few hours to give, volunteers are appreciated to man booths at horse shows and answer questions.

Opportunities exist at the State level as many States do not have State Coordinators.  Inspectors, Foster Homes and Transport volunteers are also
needed. 

There are also a number of committees that need volunteers too!

Our sincerest wish is that CMHR wasn't necessary, but unfortunately it is, so if you own, breed, show or just love American Miniature Horses, please join us so all Minis will have permanent loving homes.

GENERAL FAMILY MEMBERSHIP

Chance's Mini Horse Rescue, Inc. accepts membership applications from the general public.

All members will receive a copy of the monthly newsletter and important announcements pertaining to the Rescue’s business. Members will also receive priority over non-members in adoption of equines from Chance's Mini Horse Rescue providing their application is submitted and approved.

Memberships run from the 1st day of June until the last day of May of the following year. Renewal notices will be mailed out or sent via email approximately one month before the membership expires. If the member does not renew his/her memberships by June 15th, the member will lose all rights and privileges that are granted to the members.  

Memberships have voting rights as indicated in the Bylaws of the Corporation.

Chance's Mini Horse Rescue, Inc. and its Board of Directors reserve the right to refuse or revoke membership of any individuals or groups who are convicted of animal abuse, neglect, or abandonment. The Board of Directors may vote unanimously to revoke the membership of any Member for reasons dictated by the Board of Directors.

Family Membership Fee - $15 Annually 

SPONSORSHIP

Sponsorships will receive FREE Advertising (in the form of a banner) on the CMHR web site as well as in the newsletter plus a surprise gift!  

Group/Business Sponsorship Fee - $30 Annually

DONATIONS (Money or Items!)

DONATIONS of ALL TYPES are welcome! We will accept all monetary donations to the PayPal account listed below, or they can be mailed to the club secretary, whose postal address is also listed below.

We also welcome donations of halters, lead ropes, blankets, feed and/or water buckets, de-worming medicines, (NO QUEST!!   Quest KILLS Minis!!!) bags of feed, vouchers and coupons for feed, hay and just about anything else horse related.  Unfortunately, in the cases where these items are to be donated, the donator will have to pay for the shipping of the items to the rescue.  Before donating these items, please contact the President, to see where the items are currently most needed, so arrangements can be made to ship either directly there, or to the club address.
