Dixie is a 40" black
and white pinto mare. She is 13 years old and is great about
anything you ask of her; loading, tying, clipping, bathing, worming,

She came into the rescue foundered but has been stable for a very

Billy Bob
- 2008

Billy Bob is a 33", 9 year
old black pinto. Billy had one eye poked out by a mean
neighbor that may need surgery in the future to have it
removed. He has a thyroid problem that requires Thyroid
L medication in his food daily, and he also limps on one
back leg, but nothing stops him from running around
enjoying life. Despite his troubles, he has a wonderful
friendly disposition. Billy Bob really tries hard to
please, and let's you pick up his feet, and loves to be
brushed and scratched. This little guy is a survivor and
deserves a nice home.

grey mare, between the ages of 6-8. She is quiet and sweet
and very trusting. She craves love and attention and is very
nice to be around. She is a little nippy but that is being
worked out of her at her foster home. Can’t say we blame her
as she was starving to death. She is gaining weight and
coming along very well. She is about 34-35.”
UPDATE!
Jasmine has been adopted by a wonderful family in Norman,
Oklahoma who has now adopted 3 CMHR rescue horses! A
million thanks to the Gourley's for opening their hearts and
their home to Jasmine.

Soldier is a sorrel gelding and cute
as he can be. He is 4 years old and
in the 34-35” range. He leads well,
stands tied, backs, whoas, accepts
fly spray and cookies very well.
He'll follow you anywhere like a
puppy. Not shy or spooky and
easy to catch. Lots of potential. He
loves Snip. Located in Weimer,
Texas.
UPDATE!
Soldier's foster family has fallen in love with this little man and
have decided that they cannot live without him. Thank you once
again to the Gower-Gibbs Family for adopting their 3rd CMHR rescue mini!
Sparky -
2008

Sparky is a red roan gelding who is
about 34 inches. He has come a long
way in the short time he has been
with his foster mom. He doesn't
like to be alone so a home with
another mini will be needed for
him. He is a bit strong-willed in
some aspects. He doesn't really
like to be caught, but once you have
him, he has very nice manners. He
will stand to be brushed and loves
the attention. He will give you
his feet and you can mess with his
ears too. He ties without pawing
and will load in a trailer. His
foster mom has started ground
driving him and she plans to teach
him some horsey tricks too! If you
have a mini who needs a companion
and would like to give Sparky a

today! Sparky is currently being
fostered in Durant, Oklahoma.

- 2008

Diamond is about 35 years
young and our very dear
senior citizen lady. She is
37” black with 1 stocking
and 3 socks and a snip on
her nose. She has cataracts
and no teeth so she cannot
eat hay; she eats a special
combination of mush 4 times
a day. She will probably
remain with her present
foster home to live out her
remaining days, but we are
still open to review your
application for her if you
are in a warmer climate.
UPDATE!

a wonderful family in
Durant, Oklahoma. She will
be in a warmer climate to
weather the winter and will
be a pasture mate to another
geriatric mare who needed a
buddy. Thank you so much
to Kitty Campbell for
opening your home, yet
again, to a CMHR rescue!
Ben -
2008

Ben is 34” palomino gelding. He
is a little difficult to handle
but once he is haltered he
settles right down nicely and is
becoming more friendly by the
day. Ben needs a soft spoken low
keyed home because he does get a
little tense around loud people.
UPDATE! CMHR
would like to thank the Hidalgo
family of Oklahoma for opening
their hearts and barn to Ben!
Molly-
2008

Molly is a beautiful
bay mare, who is a
complete love and
stands approximately
35-36” and about 15
years old. She has
foundered in the
past but is well
stabilized and walks
with a little bit of
a gimp. She is very
friendly and loves
children. Molly does
nothing wrong and we
don’t understand why
no one has adopted
this pretty girl
yet! She has been in
foster care way too
long and really
needs to find her
forever home. She
would make a great
companion to anyone
or another horse.
UPDATE!
Molly
has been
adopted by a
wonderful family in
Weimar,
Texas. Molly will
be spending her days
with Tiger (a past
CMHR rescue also
adopted by them)
along with the two
CMHR rescues that
they are currently
fostering. Thank
you so much for
opening your home to
these horses!!!

10 month old filly
who will mature as a
B size. Just look at
this young lady! She
is learning basic
training in her
foster home, loves
attention, and she
may be eligible to
be registered in
AMHR. This is the
type of horse the
judges are looking
for in the show ring
or who would be just
as happy to decorate
your yard with her
outstanding beauty!
UPDATE!
We LOVE repeat
business! Aurora
has been adopted by
some wonderful
people who also
adopted another

little guy Dusty is. This tiny boy is quite the giant of
a character and is somewhat spooky due to blindness in
one eye. Dusty needs someone who will be fully attentive
when leading him and working with him whom he can learn
to build a solid trusting relationship with. Located in
Brookston, Texas.
UPDATE! Feather Duster or
"Dusty" has been adopted by his current foster home who
