"2003" Rescues
of CMHR
Ginger Snap - 2003

Ginger is a beautiful 11 year
old bay miniature horse mare. She came to CMHR as her former owner could no longer
care for her due to health problems.
Ginger has a history of founder and has to be kept on a dry lot. She has muscle
atrophy in her hips and flanks that we are hoping can be helped with proper diet and
excercise. Ginger will not be available for adoption until further assesment and
testing to be sure of her needs. Please check back to see when Ginger will
be available for adoption.
Ginger was assesed by a veternarian on July 3rd. He felt that with improved nutrition and
excercise Ginger will overcome most of her muscle problems. He also feels that her
founder is mild and under control.
Ginger was adopted by a nice family, but unfortunately due to personal circumstances,
Ginger has since been returned to CMHR.
UPDATE: CMHR President, Kay Baxter, Ginger's foster mom, and Ginger
is making appearances on behalf of CMHR with Kay.
